Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lazibuzz ("Lazibuzz", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our website at https://lazibuzz.com and the related application and services (collectively, the "Service").
Lazibuzz is operated by QIMI AI, a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
The Service is operated by QIMI AI (British Columbia, Canada). For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact us at:
Email: gu778@hotmail.com
Privacy Officer: James Guu is responsible for our compliance with applicable privacy law and for handling privacy questions and complaints, and can be reached at the email above.
We are the data controller for the personal information processed through the Service.
2. What Lazibuzz does
Lazibuzz is a social media publishing tool. It lets you upload a video or other content once and publish or schedule it to multiple connected social media accounts. Supported platforms may include X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, added as they become available. To do this, you connect your social media accounts to Lazibuzz, and you authorize Lazibuzz to publish content on your behalf.
We only access and use third-party platform data to provide the features you ask for. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information: your email address and authentication credentials when you create a Lazibuzz account.
- Workspace and billing information: workspace name, plan selection, and billing details processed through our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers; these are handled by our payment processor.
- Content you submit: the videos, images, captions, titles, and other content you upload to publish or schedule, including any metadata you add.
- Communications: information you provide when you contact support.
3.2 Information from connected social media accounts
When you connect a third-party account (such as X or LinkedIn), we receive information through that platform's official API, which may include:
- An access token (and, where the platform supports it, a refresh token) that authorizes Lazibuzz to act on your behalf;
- Your account identifier, username/handle, display name, and profile picture;
- Account capability information needed to publish correctly (for example, your X subscription tier to determine the allowed character limit);
- Confirmation of published posts (for example, the post identifier returned after a successful publish).
We request only the minimum permissions (scopes) needed to publish and schedule content on your behalf.
3.3 Information collected automatically
- Usage and log data: actions taken in the Service, timestamps, and error/diagnostic logs.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar technical information.
- Cookies: we use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. See Section 9.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Publish and schedule content to the social media accounts you connect, at your direction;
- Authenticate you and secure your account;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability and performance of the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We process this information to perform our contract with you, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, to comply with law, and/or based on your consent where required.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
We share information only as follows:
- With the social media platforms you connect, in order to publish or schedule the content you direct us to publish.
- With service providers (sub-processors) who host and operate the Service on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These currently include cloud hosting and application infrastructure; database and authentication services; object/file storage for your uploaded media; background job/queue processing for publishing; and payment processing.
- For legal reasons, when required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a lawful government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Lazibuzz.
- In a business transfer, if Lazibuzz or QIMI AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information and notify you of any change in control.
6. Platform-specific disclosures
6.1 Google / YouTube API Services
If and when you connect a Google or YouTube account, Lazibuzz uses YouTube API Services. By connecting such an account you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Lazibuzz's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google/YouTube user data only to provide the publishing features you request, we do not transfer or sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and humans do not read it except as required for security, to comply with law, or with your explicit consent. You can revoke Lazibuzz's access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
6.2 Meta (Instagram and Facebook)
If and when you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, Lazibuzz uses Meta's official Graph APIs solely to publish content you direct us to publish. We use this data only to provide the Service and do not use it for advertising. You can revoke access in your Facebook or Instagram app settings, and you can request deletion of associated data as described in Section 8 and on our Data Deletion page.
6.3 X (formerly Twitter)
If you connect an X account, Lazibuzz uses the official X API to publish posts you direct us to publish, and to read the minimum account information needed (such as your subscription tier to apply the correct character limit). You can revoke access in your X account's connected-apps settings.
6.4 LinkedIn
If you connect a LinkedIn account, Lazibuzz uses the official LinkedIn API and the w_member_social permission to publish posts on your behalf. You can revoke access in your LinkedIn account's permitted-services settings.
For all platforms, your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform's own terms and privacy policy.
7. How we store and protect information
- Access tokens for your connected accounts are stored encrypted using authenticated encryption (AES-256-GCM) with per-account data-encryption keys. Tokens are decrypted only momentarily at publish time and are never written to logs.
- We apply access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and tenant isolation so that each workspace can only access its own data.
- We restrict employee/operator access to personal data to what is necessary to operate and support the Service.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
8. Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and as required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
- You can disconnect any social media account at any time. When you disconnect an account, we delete the stored access/refresh tokens for that account.
- You can delete your Lazibuzz account at any time. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information and uploaded content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
- You can also request deletion by emailing gu778@hotmail.com.
For full step-by-step instructions, see our Data Deletion Instructions.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and to maintain security. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, receive a portable copy of your information, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
- Canada (PIPEDA / BC PIPA): you may access and correct your personal information and may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or of British Columbia.
- EEA/UK (GDPR): you have the rights listed above and may complain to your local supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing"; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
To exercise any right, email gu778@hotmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. International data transfers
Lazibuzz is operated from Canada and uses service providers that may process data in Canada, the United States, the European Union, and other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-product). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
